EcoPass is Going Mobile -NEW! MyRide App

The Lyons EcoPass provides residents with free use of any RTD bus and light rail service. This includes buses to the airport, and buses and light rail in and around Boulder, Longmont and Denver.

To transition your EcoPass with the New! MyRide App, follow these steps:

1.Download the RTD MyRide App on your smartphone through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store
2. Create a new account by clicking the "account" tab in the app
Be sure to use the same email address that you provide to Town Staff
Every individual will need their own email address to make an account
3.Set up a barcode in the MyRide App
4.Click MyRide on the home page
5.Click "Get Started" in the "Your Active Tokens" section
6.Select "With a MyRide Barcode"
7.Name and create your MyRide Barcode
8.When prompted to add funds, click "Add Funds Later" 
9. Come to Town Hall to let  Town Staff that you have downloaded the MyRide App and BarCode.
10. Your enrollment will need to be verified by the town to determine that you are eligible and meet the town's  requirements before activation.

For service from Lyons to/from Boulder - we have the Lyons Flyer public transportation which provides service Monday- Friday with two routes southbound in the morning and two routes northbound in the evening. Learn more about the Lyons Flyer and schedule.

Boulder County, in partnership with the Town of Lyons, City of Boulder, Regional Transportation District (RTD) and Via Mobility Services have worked to restore commuter transit bus service along US 36 between Lyons and Boulder. The service, rebranded as the “Lyons Flyer” will replace the Y route, formerly operated by RTD.
