The bright glow of the holidays returns to Lyons on Saturday, December 4!

The annual Holiday Parade of Lights is an exciting community tradition, featuring local music, dance performances and the parade through town. 

But we can't do it without YOU!! 

Parade Entries!

After a most challenging year plus, we still need your PARADE ENTRY!  Grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers and send in your entry for the parade! This helps with planning and really -- it's super fun to enter the parade!
Ideally, we would like 15 more entries by tomorrow (November 30) at noon in order to hold the parade or it may be cancelled.  Show your support and your creativity and enter today! 

Schedule of Events

NEW!!! Registration and check-in tent will be located in front of  the Lyons Elementary School, 338 High Street. The  registration and check- in area will be open from 5 - 5:45 pm. The parade route is being modified slightly this year as well to ensure safety of pedestrians and drivers through Lyons.

The parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m., followed by a festive choir presentation by the choirs from both schools at 4th and Main.  

Fireworks Cancelled

We know it has been super dry and we are in an extreme drought. In addition, Boulder County has new fire restrictions. The fire restrictions are being implemented due to the increasing fire danger, lack of moisture, and the forecast for above seasonal temperatures without precipitation. 
For everyone's safety, it was decided today, November 29th that the fireworks show following the parade is cancelled.
