Youth Recreational Soccer
Soccer is a great way to introduce children to team sports and keep them active. Most Lyons youth play recreational soccer through the REAL Colorado league based in Longmont. Registration happens through their website (link below) and teams are formed based on geographical area. If enough kids from Lyons register in a given age group and/or if the coach is based in Lyons, then practices can happen on a Lyons field. All games are played in Longmont. All teams have volunteer coaches, usually a parent of a child on the team. If you are interested in forming a Lyons team be sure to indicate that during registration and spread the word to friends and neighbors. Practice dates and times are set by the coach. Get out there and have some fun!
