Senior Bus Trip to the Kirkland Museum

Join us for a docent led tour of the "Frank Lloyd Wright Inside the Walls" exhibit at the Kirkland Museum in Denver.  Wright believed in the concept of a "total work of art" with the accessories and furnishings of a building complementing the architecture to create a unified whole. We'll view decorative art objects from around a dozen of Wrights buildings and hear about their history on our one hour tour.  After the tour we'll have time to explore other collections on display such as International Decorative Art, Colorado and Regional Art, and Vance Kirkland and the Original Studio artworks. This trip takes place in the afternoon so be sure to eat lunch before you board the bus.  This trip is wheelchair and walker friendly.
