US-36 Road Work & Traffic Impacts

Monday, Sept. 18 - Wednesday, Sept. 27

CDOT and ACC Mountain West have begun paving operations in support of the US-36 bridges project. Crews will mill and then pave US-36 from 4100 Ute Highway (Clark's TrueValue Hardware Store) to Park Street (Lyons Quilting), from Monday, September 18 to Wednesday, September 27. Crews will work in the west-bound lanes moving from east to west and then return in the east bound lands. The US-36 bridges project is slated to be complete early Summer 2018.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS: During the work hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, flaggers will reduce traffic to a single lane where milling or paving operations are underway. A 25 MPH speed limit will be strictly enforced within the mile long workzone during this two week window, for the safety of employees and to protect your vehicles from unnecessary damage.
