Lyons Zero-Waste Concert & Family Fun Event

Lyons is hosting a Zero Waste-themed carnival in Sandstone Park, and YOU are invited!

Join community members to celebrate Lyons’ commitment to sustainability with magic, acrobats, a passport game for kids, trash cornhole, food vendors, and a special performance by local musicians and storytellers, Jeff & Paige!

Jeff & Paige have written NEW songs and skits just for this performance -- you won’t want to miss it! All are welcome to this educational, free, family-oriented event! Please bring a blanket to sit on.

Arts on the River

Arts on the River

Arts on the River is a collaboration between Boulder County Arts Alliance and the Lyons Arts and Humanities Commission. The celebration and art show is  held along the North Saint Vrain Creek in Lyons at River Bend. Dozens of local artists in all mediums will have work for sale, including paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, fiber and more!

There will be live music from Kutandara and Sounds of Lyons, dancers from Mayama Movement Studio, food from vendors Savory Cuisines, Button Rock Bakery and Farmer Girl, and libations from Spirit Hound Distillers and B Town.

Volunteers for set-up and break-down are still needed. It's fun! Email BCAA if you are available to help with set-up from 11am - 1pm or from 7 pm - 9 pm.

Notice of Cycling Event Routing Lyons

Saturday, August 26 | Venus de Miles 


On Saturday, August 26, the Venus de Miles bike ride will take place in Boulder County, with two courses extending through or near Lyons. 

As part of the 100-mile course, miles 43 through 49 route through Lyons, with a rest stop positioned at Lyons Elementary. The 60-mile course routes riders north on US-36, then east on Hwy 66 toward Longmont. 

Riders are anticipated to be in Lyons between 9:15 and 11:45 a.m., with the heaviest traffic likely between 10:00 and 10:45 a.m.

Sandstone Summer Concert Series Continues

Rescheduled for August 31 | 6:30 pm


The Blue Canyon Boys will play the final Sandstone Summer Concert on Thursday, August 31. When a concert is cancelled due to weather, the Town of Lyons works with the band to reschedule for a date that the band is available. Thanks for your understanding.
