Waterline Flushing and Hydrant Testing

Beginning June 6

Beginning Tuesday, June 6, the Town will be flushing waterlines and testing hydrants, starting on the north western side of town. Residents on and surrounding Vasquez, Horizon, Steamboat Valley, 5th Ave., Reese, Stickney, and 4th Ave. may experience water discoloration and pressure fluctuations. Discoloration is normal during the process, and can be corrected by allowing faucets to run for a couple minutes until clear.

The waterline testing will cover all lines throughout Town, working from north to south throughout the week. 

Bohn Park Pedestrian Trail Temporary Closure

Due to ongoing construction, the Bohn Park pedestrian trail access, located off 2nd Avenue, will be closed to the public from June 5 to June 6. Recreationists may access the park at the southern entrance, adjacent to Lyons Middle/Senior High.
