Trail Ridge Road Open for Summer

Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park is open for the season but visitors should keep an eye out for icy conditions from melting snow.

4th Avenue Closure: Saturday, June 3

7:30 a.m. to noon

4th Avenue, from Main Street to Broadway, will be closed to all through traffic on Saturday, June 3, from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The RTD lot off 4th Ave. will be reserved for the Estes Park Car Club, as the first location of their historic tour. This event was previously scheduled for May 20, but postponed due to snow and weather.

Good Old Days

Saturday, June 24
Sandstone Park

The 41st Annual Lyons Good Old Days is scheduled for Saturday, June 24. The day kicks off with the River Run 5K at 8 am, followed by Pancakes in the Park, served up by the Lyons Volunteers.  Events head over to LaVern Johnson Park for the dedication at 11 am. Kids events, including water walker balls, obstacle courses and a climbing wall will be at Sandstone Park. Live Music and performances start at 5 pm. A schedule of events will be posted beginning next week. Stay tuned!
