Please join the Board of Trustees and Town Staff for a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, January 11, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room.
The event will include a recap of 2016, and a look ahead into 2017 objectives.

Christmas Tree Repurposing

Saturday, Jan. 7 and Sunday, Jan. 8 | 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Free!
On Saturday (1/7) and Sunday (1/8), from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, residents can bring live Christmas trees to the wastewater treatment plant, to be chipped and hauled. Please ensure trees are cleared of all decorations, lights, and garland; trees with any metal or plastic will not be accepted. 
Please note this is a special agreement with Boulder County for Christmas trees only; branches, limbs, and other wood waste will not be accepted at this time.

Forest Slash Pile Burning Season Begins Jan. 5

First burn Thursday, Jan. 5, at Hall Ranch, weather permitting

Seasonal slash pile burning will begin Thurs., Jan. 5, at Hall Ranch, weather permitting. Smoke and flames may be visible throughout the day and into the evening.  

The Boulder County Fire Management Program will be conducting pile burning operations on Parks & Open Space properties throughout the winter. Over 400 piles have been constructed on the Walker Ranch and Hall Ranch properties. All operations are weather dependent.

There will be no property or trail closures due to this forest management activity.

Unincorporated Boulder County Floodplain Mapping Project Meetings

Open houses and study session with Planning Commission scheduled for coming week
The Boulder County Transportation Department and the State of Colorado are hosting a series of public meetings to present draft floodplain maps for major stream corridors in the unincorporated county. These maps are from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Colorado Hazard Mapping Program (CHAMP). 

These sessions are an opportunity for the public to review draft updated map information for locations in unincorporated Boulder County as listed for each meeting below. Locations outside of the defined map review areas for each meeting will not be discussed. Additional public meetings will be scheduled as additional map updates are received.
