Broadway | US-36 Improvements
Meeting Tonight!Virtual Public Meeting | March 31, 6 - 7 pm
This project will include building a multimodal pathway, along the southern edge of Broadway, connecting CO-7/5th Ave in Lyons on the western end of downtown Lyons to the St Vrain trail network and Black Bear Hole at the eastern edge of town.The design phase of the project kicked off in January 2022 and includes the following project elements:1. Narrower travel lanes to enhance safety for all modes of travel2. Curb extensions to shorten crossing distances at intersections3. New sidewalks along the north side of the roadway4. Addition of public parking spaces along both the northern and southern edges5. Delivery and service access to businesses along the north side of Broadway6. Improved bicycle and pedestrian access to downtown, the Library, Sandstone Park, and Black Bear Hole7. Multimodal pathway (bike/ped) along the south side of Broadway
