You did it Lyons! The bright glow of the holidays returns to Lyons this
Saturday, December 4! We are so thrilled.
The annual Holiday Parade of Lights is an exciting community tradition, featuring local music, dance performances and the parade through town.
Schedule of Events
NEW!!! Registration and check-in tent will be located in front of the Lyons Elementary School, 338 High Street. Registration and check-in areas will be open from 5 - 5:45 pm. New route too! The parade route is being modified slightly this year to ensure safety of pedestrians and drivers through Lyons.
The parade kicks off at 6:30 pm, followed by a festive choir presentation by the choirs from both schools at 4th and Main. Lyons Show Choir
This year, the Lyons Show Choir will be performing in a NEW location too. Come support their musical talents and listen to some great holiday songs.
Location: Intersection of 4th and Main, hill/steps of the white church and the corner
Time: following the parade
Lyons Historical Society
This year, with the new! parade route, the Redstone Museum and Lyons Historical Society will hold their Bake Sale from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the corner of 4th and Main. Both groups hope you will stop by and show your support.
Fireworks Cancelled
We know it has been super dry and we are in an extreme drought. In addition, Boulder County has new fire restrictions. The fire restrictions are being implemented due to the increasing fire danger, lack of moisture, and the forecast for above seasonal temperatures without precipitation.
For everyone's safety, the fireworks show following the parade is cancelled.
We Appreciate Your Support!
This event aims to strengthen community and inspire each other. A Lyons style shout out and big thank you to our generous donors and local sponsors for supporting the 2021 Parade of Lights!
