Lights Out Lyons
Stargazing Event August 13
On Friday, August 13, Town of Lyons residents and businesses are encouraged to go “lights out” in support of dark sky awareness and stargazing appreciation.
Lights Out Lyons is a dark sky event timed during one of the peak viewing nights of the Perseids meteor shower and a waxing (low light) crescent phase of the moon. Bohn Park in Lyons, Colorado will be the meeting point for guided talks and stargazing.
