Public Meeting Notification

Summit Housing Development Review

Tuesday, March 10, 7 pm

On Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 7:00 pm, a public hearing will be held with the Planning and Community Development Commission as part of the development review of Tract A, the 21 multi-family units proposed by Summit Housing for the property at 0 Carter Drive.

The initial site development plan and submitted documents are posted online to review.
The public is invited to speak about the development plan during public comment.
 
Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing  or to submit written comments regarding Tract A to the Deputy Town Clerk at Town Hall, 432 5th Ave, Lyons, CO.

The Town of Lyons is pleased to announce the 2020 Goodwill Grant Funding cycle, to support human services in the Lyons and the surrounding area. Applications for grants from the Goodwill Grant Fund are due by March 1, 2020.

The Redstone Review and the Lyons Recorder are hosting a Candidate Forum at the Lyons Regional Library on Monday, March 9th from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm. The candidate forum is a public event  and is a great way to to learn more about the candidates running to represent you.

Beginning in early March

A 30-day full closure of US 36 at MM 8 (West of Lyons on the way to Estes Park)  is planned from March 9 through April 10.

Interested in serving on a Board or Commission?


Joining a board or commission is a great way to become involved in the Lyons community and help shape the decisions made in your community.
Currently there are vacancies for the Board of Adjustments, Ecology Advisory Board, Economic Vitality Commission, Housing and Human Services Commission, Planning and Community Development Commission and the Sustainable Futures Commission.
Per the Lyons Municipal Code, members of the Board of Adjustments and the Planning and Community Development Commission must have lived in Lyons for at least one year.
