 Senior Exercise Group

Come join our senior exercise group and have fun and improve your fitness while enjoying stimulating conversation. One day each week we'll do some exercises involving hand weights and bands, along with some low impact aerobics and coordination exercises. Chairs will be available for those who prefer to sit and exercise. On the other day we start off with a 30 minute walk. Walkers are encouraged to go at their own pace. In the colder months, we will pick the day each week (Tues or Thurs) with the best weather for walking, and, if neither day is nice, we'll exercise indoors both days. All exercises can be modified to accommodate any fitness level.  Both classes will end indoors with some balance exercises and gentle stretching.  Don't forget to bring a water bottle and you may bring your own hand weights and yoga mat if you prefer. This class is taught by Lisa Ramsey.  .
