Parade Route Plowing

Wednesday, Dec. 4, 12 – 4 p.m.

Due to the tremendous amount of snowfall we received last week, Town of Lyons Parks and Public Works teams have been working hard to prepare the roads and the parade route for this weekend’s Holiday Parade of Lights.

If your residence is located along the parade route, we’d like your help to ensure the most effective snow plowing. On Wednesday, Dec. 4, between noon and 4 p.m., Town crews will be plowing these streets. During this time, please help them and move all parked vehicles off the road. This will allow the crews to plow the shoulders, and in turn, create a more enjoyable experience for residents and drivers. Plus, it will take care of burdensome piles of snow that currently limit street parking and access! We thank you in advance for your help.

It’s fast, easy, and secure, eliminating the need to write a check or find a stamp each month. Going paperless will also help reduce the costs and resources of printing and mailing bills each month. Holiday Parade of Lights

Saturday, December 7
Beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The bright glow of the holidays is once again coming to Lyons on December 7! The annual Holiday Parade of Lights is an exciting community tradition, which includes music, fireworks, and a stunning parade through town.The parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m., followed by the fireworks display, beginning at approximately 7:40 p.m.

Lyons Holiday Craft Bazaar

Saturday, December 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
& Sunday, December 8, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: Lyons Elementary School

Mark your calendar! 60+ artisan crafters will sell their handmade wares at the 45th Annual Lyons Holiday Craft Bazaar on Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, December 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A wide variety of quality crafts, jewelry, photography, pottery, glass, and textile arts will be found at this event - it's a great opportunity to find unique holiday gifts and accessories!

Lyons High School Choir will be offering food (donations only) in the cafeteria to benefit their NYC trip from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM each day since we know shoppers and vendors get hungry!
