The Lyons 9Health Fair will take place on Saturday, September 28, from 8 a.m. until noon, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 200 2nd Ave.

The Lyons 9 Health Fair offers a variety of free health screenings including, blood chemistry, body in balance, breast and PAP exams, flu shots (some are free if you qualify, others will be billed to your insurance), blood pressure, vision, dental, hand screening, hearing, skin, stress management screenings and more! We will also have representatives to assess correct child car-seat placement.

Nissan LEAF Rebate

Offer Expires September 30, 2019

The American Public Power Association (APPA) has partnered with Nissan to offer its member public power community across the U.S. exclusive rebates on the all-electric 2019 Nissan LEAF.

As APPA customers, Lyons residents are eligible for a rebate of $3,500 on the 2019 Nissan LEAF 40 kWh Standard and of $2,500 on the 2019 Nissan LEAF 62 kWh ePlus.

To claim the public power rebate, download this flyer and take it to a local Nissan dealer, along with proof of eligible residency and a current electric bill.

All rebates expire September 30, 2019.

Alzheimer's Community Forum

Monday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. | Walt Self Center

On Monday, Sept. 30, join the Alzheimer's Association to learn about Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory loss. Bring a friend who has been affected by the disease. Share your thoughts about how we can help people in your community.

Crack Sealing & Sweeping

Steamboat Valley, Vasquez, Horizon, Stone Canyon

On Saturday, Sept. 28, crack-sealing will continue on Steamboat Valley Road, Vasquez Court & Road, and Horizon Drive. The contractor will also be returning to Stone Canyon on the same day, to complete the work from the previous week.

Following the completion of these areas, street sweepers will be cleaning the streets of the areas that were crack-sealed.

Please avoid parking vehicles along these streets during this time.

Museum Benefit Garage Sale

Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 28 & 29 | 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. | 306 Evans St.

The Lyons Redstone Museum will be hosting a garage sale on Saturday and Sunday to benefit the museum. The sale will take place at 306 Evans Street (note, not at the museum), from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Stop by to support a Lyons treasure!
