Construction Work

Active Construction Areas

Bohn Park and Lyons Valley River Park

Please remember Bohn Park Phase II, including the skatepark, and Lyons Valley River Park (LVRP) are active construction sites, and public access is not allowed. Not only is it dangerous to access active construction zones, but it impacts the progress and successes of the projects. What’s more, it's considered trespassing.

LVRP is currently undergoing necessary restoration of nearly 14,000 wetland plugs, 2,500 shrubs, and 150 trees. They have fenced off the upper pond completely and will begin fencing the lower pond this week. For the new plantings to take, the area needs to be clear of obstructions and foot traffic.

The projects' contractors will address the trespassing with anyone who is not permitted to be on the sites, and report the activity to Town Staff or the Sheriff's office.

Your continued patience supports the success and timeliness of each project.
