Inclement Weather Precautions

Potential for outages or impacts to infrastructure

Due to the potential for wind, collapsed trees, and ice build-up on powerlines, the 'bomb cyclone' snowstorm presents risk of power outages and other impacts to infrastructure.

As a precautionary measure, the Town encourages residents to plan for potential power outages and interruptions to water and sewer operations. Consider charging phones and computers, ensure battery power for flashlights, and have water available. The Town will send notice in the event of emergencies, including outages or other impacts to infrastructure. You're also welcome to contact Boulder County Non-Emergency Dispatch at 303-441-4444, if you experience a power outage. Town crews will continue to monitor roads and powerlines throughout the snow event.

Stay safe.
