Injured Bear in Area

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has reported sightings of an injured bear with a cub in the Lyons area. An injured mama bear is likely more aggressive hunting food and protecting her cub, and may be very dangerous.
To help keep humans safe and bears alive, please pick up trash and do not leave food unattended. Always use caution in the presence of a bear.

Please report all bear sightings to Boulder County Dispatch at 303-441-4444.
