River Work Progress

Black Bear, Arn, October, and November Holes

River work continues along the Black Bear, Arn, October, and November Holes. In-stream work is complete for the October and November Holes, while terracing is still underway at Black Bear and Arn Holes. In-stream work will be followed by revegetation and general bank cleanup along each area. 

Please remember these areas will remain closed, until project completion. The contractors have requested tighter control over the site for safety reasons, which includes the Black Bear Hole pedestrian bridge and parking lot, along with a significant portion of the trail area. They do plan to leave a walkway along the north portion of the trail, connecting at 2nd Ave. bridge, for foot traffic.

Lyons Valley River Park

90% Design Plans

The 90% design plans for Lyons Valley River Park Recovery Project, which includes the ponds at McConnell Drive, was recently presented to the Board of Trustees, who directed staff to move forward with the 100% designs and bid the project. The Town is currently awaiting final confirmation from the State to proceed with bid postings. In the meantime, check out the 90% design plans!
