LaVern M. Johnson Park Ice Rink Closure

Closed Until Further Notice

Due to recent warm temperatures, the ice rink in LaVern M. Johnson Park has suffered considerable melting, resulting in unsafe conditions. Skating when the ice is not properly frozen and surfaced creates additional damage, which may prolong the closure of the rink.

The rink will be closed until colder temperatures allow the ice to re-freeze, and staff can maintenance the ice. Notice will be sent upon its reopening.
