Lyons Holiday Events
December 5th through December 7th
It's almost here Lyons! The 2025 Tree Lighting, Holiday Artisan Market, and Parade of Lights is scheduled for this weekend: December 5th thru December 7th.
Lyons Tree Lighting Celebration – Friday, December 5 at 5 p.m. Lyons kicks off the holiday weekend on Friday, December 5, in the southwest corner of Sandstone Park with the third annual Tree Lighting Celebration. Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. with caroling, a community sing-along, and free hot cocoa and sweet treats provided by the Lyons Garden Club with cash donations accepted to benefit the Lyons Elevating All Fund (LEAF). At 5:30 p.m., the SVVSD Innovation Center will debut a special Lyons-themed Holiday Drone Show, lighting up the sky. The celebration continues just one block away with the unveiling of the newly completed Lyons Mural Wall by local artist Android Jones. Join the mural celebration from 6:00–9:00 p.m. along Railroad Ave. Guests can enjoy a dazzling Lightbrush projection show that animates the mural’s wildlife. The event is free, outdoors, and complete with hot cocoa—an ideal stop after the town’s tree lighting and drone show.
Lyons Holiday Artisan Market – December 6 & 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Get your holiday shopping started close to home! The annual Holiday Artisan Market returns to Lyons Elementary School from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. More than 60 local artisans will offer handcrafted gifts—including jewelry, pottery, textiles, fine art, and festive creations—perfect for holiday giving. Santa Claus will visit from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. each day, adding a little extra magic for families.
Lyons Parade of Lights – Saturday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m. A cherished Lyons tradition, the Parade of Lights starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. along downtown historic Main Street. Following the parade, the SVVSD Innovation Center plans to present a second Drone Show (weather permitting)
Pro Tip! Both drone shows will go off near Bohn Park, but will be visible from Main Street and Sandstone Park. If you can see the "L" on the hill above the school, you can see the drone show. They are presented by students from the St Vrain Valley School District’s Innovation Center.
Feeling festive? Help keep the magic glowing—sign up for a short volunteer shift at the Parade of Lights and be part of the holiday fun!
