National Night Out
Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Bohn Park
The Boulder County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) and the Lyons Fire Protection District (LFPD) announce the return of National Night Out (NNO) to Bohn Park in Lyons on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 beginning at 6 pm.
Officers will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, which are free for those who stop by. Meet local officers and staff from our local agencies. The goals of National Night Out are simple, yet important -- to build awareness around crime and drug prevention, getting the community involved in local anti-crime efforts and strengthening connections between the community and law enforcement.
National Night Out which began in 1984 is an annual community-building campaign held across the nation on the first Tuesday in August. NNO promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
