Wildland Fire Near Rabbit Mountain Open Space
As of 10:15 a.m., a 25-acre wildland fire burns near the 22,000 block of Dakota Ridge Rd., about three miles north of Rabbit Mountain Open Space area. The fire was reported to have been started by a blown transformer, around 9 a.m. on Monday.
Currently, the fire remains within Larimer County, though Boulder County Fire Management and Emergency Services are staging near Rabbit Mountain.
A pre-evacuation warning has been set for one-half mile radius around the address.
