February 5, 2024 and February 20,2024 Meetings Summary

The Board of Trustees(BOT) held two regularly scheduled meetings on February 5 and February 20. The February 5 meeting included a workshop to discuss the Pedestrian Network Plan and Sidewalk Assessment and give staff direction. View this link which includes a full summary and recap of both meetings and workshops.

All BOT meetings and Board and Commission Meetings are open to the public. There is a zoom option for each meeting or residents may join in person at the Town Hall Board Room. Each agenda is posted in the agenda center, at least 24 hours in advance.
Their next regularly scheduled meeting is on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 7 pm.

There are still a few vacancies on town boards and commissions. The Mayor invites interested residents to join a board or commission and share your expertise and knowledge. Joining a board or commission is a great way to become involved and help shape the decisions made in the community. To apply for an Advisory Board or Commission position, please complete the Online Application. Your application will be sent to the mayor, who will follow up with you directly.   Currently there is a vacancy on each of these commissions;  the Parks and Recreation Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Housing and Human Services and the Board of Adjustments.

Their will be a Candidate's Forum on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 5:30 pm - 8 pm, in the community room at the Lyons Regional Library for the Lyons Municipal election. The event is brought to you by the Redstone Review and the Lyons Recorder. It will also be live streamed so residents may watch online.
