Board of Trustees Meeting Recap

Highlights from the June 5 BOT Meeting:

The Board of Trustees met for their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 5, 2023.  They held a  workshop in executive session ahead of the meeting. The meeting included one public hearing as a first reading, the consent agenda, general business items and more. The BOT moved Ord. 1147  for a  second reading. All ordinances require two meetings. They also approved 5 items on consent and commemorated June 19th as Juneteenth. View a brief summary and recap of the meeting.

All BOT meetings and Board and Commission Meetings are open to the public and each agenda is posted in the agenda center, at least 24 hours in advance.

Joining a board or commission is a great way to become involved and help shape the decisions made in your community. Your application will be sent to the mayor, who will follow up with you directly.   Currently there is a vacancy on each of these commissions;  the Parks and Recreation Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Housing and Human Services and the Board of Adjustments.
