Cross Country Team State Sendoff

Friday, Oct 28 at noon

If you hear a lot of sirens around noon on Friday, October 28, it is the send off for the Lyons Lions Cross Country teams to the state cross countyr meet! Feel free to come join the send off by the high school, along McConnell.

Lyons Spooktacular

The fun starts at 4 pm! Parade is at 6 pm

Saturday, October 29th Town staff is working to plan a fun, outdoor family-friendly Lyons Spooktacular Parade and events! The events begin at 4:00 pm at the Lyons Elementary School, with the parade along Main Street beginning at 6 pm. This is a pedestrian ONLY parade. No vehicles.

Don't forget that Main St will be closed to parking from 3 - 7 pm and closed to traffic beginning at 5 pm. Boulder County Sheriff's Dept will help to route vehicle traffic along Broadway (in both directions).

LEAF Lyons Emergency Assistance

Fund-raiser | Friday, October 28

Get your costumes ready! LEAF’s biggest fundraiser and dance party, Rave To The Grave, is Friday, October 28 at Lavern Johnson Park. Doors open at 5:30 PM. 4th Ave Pedestrian Bridge and Safe Route to School Celebration

Thanks to everyone who was able to join together for the warm and heartfelt community celebration last Friday, October 21. Families, children, neighbors and musicians came to help us celebrate. The bridge was dedicated to Janet and Dave Orback and the trail was dedicated to Crystal White.

Limb Drop Off Event

Saturday, Nov 5 | 9 am- noon

The Town of Lyons is helping to host another self-service Fire Mitigation/Fuels Reduction Drop Off Day. This drop-off service is for residents with property located within the Lyons Fire Protection District boundary, for one day only, Saturday, November 5, from 9 am - Noon at the Lyons Public Works Facility.

LOCATION: 4687 Ute Hwy, in front of Town’s public works facility, (east of the tiny house builder)
Branches and limbs ONLY.
NO yard waste, roots, grass, pine needles, pine cones, tree stumps, flood debris, dirt, rocks, construction materials, lumber or trash accepted.

Self- service, you unload your vehicle
Residential Use Only
Volunteers will ensure materials meet the requirements.
No commercial drop-off accepted.

Artist Showcase

Saturday, November 12 | 2 - 5 pm

There is a free artist showcase in honor of the life and service of volunteer Firefighter Griffin Ferguson occurring on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the A-Lodge featuring local musicians Joe Kuckla, Charlie Rose, and The River Pigs. Donations are accepted and will be used to help the development and continuation of a First Responder Peer Support Program. For more information visit lyonsfire.org
