Wildfire Update
Earlier this afternoon, Boulder County dispatch and Larimer County were notified of a wildfire, 6.5 miles north of Lyons in the Blue Mountain Area, off County Road 37E.
The town is in contact with both Boulder County Sheriff and Larimer County officials.
Lyons Fire, Pinewood Springs, Hygiene and Left Hand Fire are all on scene with this wildfire incident.
Currently there are mandatory evacuations for Vision Way, Chimney Hollow and Dakota Ridge Rd in Larimer County. Moss Rock Drive in Larimer and Boulder Counties is also under the mandatory evacuation.
Lifebridge Church in Longmont is the evacuation center.

At this time, there is no word on what started the fire. Rabbit Mountain in Boulder County is temporarily closed due to the fire and direction.
