Demolition and Remediation Notice

Please be advised that on Friday, February 5, demolitions will occur at the following addresses:

111 Park Street
332 Park Street
342 Park Street
124 4th Avenue

Following the demolitions, debris removal and grading will take place on Saturday, February 6.

In addition, remediation will begin on Friday, February 5 at the following properties:

340 Park Street
405 Prospect Street
415 Prospect Street

Upon remediation completion, demolitions will begin. Notices of demolitions will be sent.

Visible Smoke During Slash Pile Burns

The Lyons Fire Protection District will be conducting slash pile burns near Lyons Park Estates, Indian Lookout, Spring Ggulch and Blue Mountain over the next few days. Smoke will be visible in Town.

Old Man Winter Routes Through Town

The Old Man Winter Rally is a one-day bike and running rally, taking place this Sunday, February 7. The event consists of a running course, and two cycling courses - all of which route through Lyons.

Due to the anticipated amount of participants, Railroad Avenue will be closed on February 7. Additionally, 2nd Avenue will be reduced to one lane throughout the day. If possible, please use alternative routes.
