New Wildfire near Estes Park

Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Larimer County Sheriff's Office and Lyons Fire Protection District are aware of a new wildfire near Estes Park in Larimer County. The fire was first reported just before 7 am. 

Crews are responding to a wildfire near the Kruger Rock and Hermit Park Open Space, just before Estes Park, near US-36.

Additionally, there is a red flag warning in our area today due to high winds. As always please be careful with any lighted materials such as cigarettes, chainsaws or anything that can create a spark. Make sure any flammables are fully out and disposed of properly.
