April 5, 2016 Board of Trustees Election

Are you interested in serving the town during the ongoing recovery and participating in decision-making on many diverse topics, to improve Lyons' social and economic future?

If so, represent your town by running for Mayor or Trustee!

The election for Mayor and Trustee is April 5, 2016. If you are interested in running for Mayor or Trustee, Nomination Petitions will be available for pickup beginning January 5, 2016, at the Town Clerk’s Office at 432 5th Ave, Lyons, CO.

A minimum of 10 signatures is required for each petition; petitions must be returned by 4:30 p.m. on January 25, 2016. You must also have resided within the limits of the corporation for a period of at least twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election. Members of the Board of Trustees and the Mayor shall be elected for terms of two (2) years.

SVCC

SVCC to Host Informational Recovery Meeting

The Saint Vrain Creek Coalition (SVCC) is hosting an informational meeting to provide residents with information on upcoming flood recovery projects being planned in their neighborhoods. The informational meeting will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at 556 Apple Valley Road in Lyons.
