Hydrant Flushing and Testing

Wednesday DEC 3 | 1 - 4 pm

The Lyons Fire Protection District and Town Public Works staff will be testing Fire Hydrants this afternoon beginning at 1 pm.

This often stirs up sediment in the main water lines throughout town, due to the higher volume of water and pressure.

Testing and the hydrant flushing should be completed by 4 pm.

If you notice any discoloration in your water, please run your cold water for a few minutes until your water runs clear.
