What’s been completed!


McConnell has been repaved from 2nd Ave to the McConnell Bridge 
2nd Ave has been repaved from Bohn Park to McConnell
There is striping to complete on these new pavements as well as repair a concrete cross pan at Cobblestone Ct.


What happened this week?


Asphalt removal and roadway subgrade repair on 4th Ave from Railroad Ave to Evans Ave & on Evans Ave from 4th to 3rd
Grade preparation for the new curb and gutter in these same areas
Thank you to all residents for moving their vehicles!


What’s happening next week?


Concrete crews will began forming and pouring curb and gutter on 4th Ave from the alley to Evans Ave and continuing on Evans to 3rd Ave
Pipe crews will be installing new storm drain along Evans Ave
The old guardrail at the curve will be removed at the curve and new guardrail will be placed
Reconstructing the roadway subgrade 
Continued asphalt replacement along Evans from 3rd Ave to 2nd Ave – so no on street parking in this area until project is complete.

Thank you to all residents for their assistance with moving their vehicles and patience as we reconstruct our public roads. Please remember that this is an active construction zone and please stay out of the roadway when work is occurring, especially children! 
It is very difficult for the equipment operators and truck drivers to see the wee lil' ones.

Bohn Park Phase II

Bohn Park Phase II Updates


Work continues in Bohn Park Phase II. The contractor has begun work for the intake, wells and pump house for the Project. You may notice that a portion of the trail is reopened along the river, the contractor will be working to repair the damage created from the installation. Residents are asked to follow the detour into the parking lot. In addition, the fencing for the baseball/softball fields has been placed and the pavilion is 90% complete. Soon more landscaping will begin along with work on the walking trails.
Bohn Park Phase II is expected to remain under construction through the summer.



Kids Mountain Biking Classes

KIDS MOUNTAIN BIKING

Get out for some fresh air!
 

Led by Boulder Jr Cycling Head Coach Lester Pardoe, this class is designed for beginner and  intermediate  riders. Come join in the fun and learn some great skills too! This session includes instruction on braking, shifting, cornering, balance, drops and step-up, trail etiquette and riding on local trails, pumping and jumping, and challenges. This class will begin at the Bohn Park Dirt Bike Park and move on to local trails. Please come on a ready-to-ride mountain bike, wear a helmet and appropriate footwear, and bring a water bottle. 
Ages: 8-14
Dates: Fridays, 9-10:30am, June 19 & 26, July 10 & 17, 2020 (no class July 3)
Fee: $110

Covid-19 Safety Precautions for this class:  All riders, regardless of age, are required to wear masks that can easily be pulled into place when within 6’ of others.  Bikes must be in excellent working order before the first class starts.  There will be no sharing of equipment and participants must maintain social distancing.
