Flood Buyout Parcels Within Lyons Planning Area

Apple Valley Road

Acquired Parcels Meeting
Monday, January 27 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm

The Town of Lyons Planning and Community Development Commission would like citizen input on the Boulder County acquired parcels on Apple Valley Road.

Boulder County would like to possibly transfer these parcels to the Town of Lyons. We are seeking input on how the parcels could be used in ways that benefit the community. These parcels were destroyed in the 2013 flood and because the land was purchased with federal funds they can only be used for recreation and conservation as open spaces. The Town of Lyons Planning and Community Development Commission is seeking input so they can recommend possible use of the acquired parcels to the Board of Trustees. The Parks and Recreation Commission and Ecology Board are also part of the public input process.

Anyone interested may attend.

Monday, Jan. 27 | 5:30  to 6:30 pm
