Safe Route to School 

4th Ave Ped Bridge, Trail and Sidewalks
From Bohn Park along 4th Ave over N St Vrain Creek up to High St and Lyons Elementary School

This project includes a multi modal trail for bikes and pedestrians from Bohn Park to the N St Vrain.
A pedestrian bridge will be placed over the N St Vrain and there will be bike lanes and sidewalks from Evans St (north of the bridge) along 4th Ave up to HIgh St and the intersection of 4th Ave and High St at the Lyons Elementary School.

The project is scoped at $855,000 with the Town of Lyons receiving a $500,000 Safe Route to School (SRTS) Grant from CDOT and the balance from CBDG-DR Boulder Collaborative Flood Recovery Funds. 

The project is currently in 30% design and the town plans to host to public meetings with residents on April 29th and May 4th.
Construction is expected to begin in late Fall 2021 with the project completed in 2022.
