Traffic Impacts
With the work continuing on 3rd Ave between Broadway and Evans, expect some short delays with access to the Post Office while crews work in this area and suggest to park on Railroad to access the post office. One way traffic pattern will continue along the curve at 4th and Evans. Traffic will only be allowed to travel west/north along the curve between Park Ave to the end of the curve. This is to allow safe travel through this narrow section until asphalt and striping are complete. Please adhere to the traffic signage. As driveways are poured, please stay off them for 7 days after the concrete is placed in order to let the concrete to gain strength.
Safety tip! – Construction sites are notorious for tripping hazards and uneven ground. Be aware of where you’re walking so you can stay vertical and keep those ankles intact!
All work described is subject to change based on weather conditions and materials supply. Thank you to all residents for their assistance with moving their vehicles and patience as we reconstruct our public roads.
As a continued reminder, this is an active construction zone and please stay out of the roadway when work is occurring, especially children!
