Phase 1 and 2 of the Bohn Park Recovery Project includes river restoration and improved ecological habitat, additional parking, a new restroom facility, a pedestrian bridge connecting to 4th Ave., ball fields, skate park and landscaping, continuance of the trail system within the plan area, and other infrastructure enhancements.
COVID-19 Impacts to Shelter Rentals
In an effort to maintain responsible distancing, Town of Lyons park shelters are limited to group sizes are limited to 25-50 people depending on the size of the shelter.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating at outdoor venues must be appropriately spaced, to reduce mingling and reinforce the necessary distance between individuals in different households. Please keep this in mind when reserving a shelter to allow enough distance for your guests at the shelters.

The Town of Lyons has two shelters in Bohn Park available for rentals.
The Town of Lyons charges a parking fee every day at Bohn Park. Currently the parking fee is $5 for every 4 hours, for those who wish to park within Bohn Park.
the total capacity in the park is limited as is the amount of parking capacity. We appreciate your patience and guests may need to wait to enter the park when the park has reached capacity.

Resident parking passes will be mailed once proof of residency and vehicle information is provided. Residency is proven by showing a Town of Lyons utility bill. To sign up for a parking pass, visit Lyons Town Hall, or apply online.
