Empower your children to have the ability to create healthy snacks and meals for themselves by enrolling them in this awesome cooking class held at Walt Self Building upstairs taught by local Linda Pecone!
The meals taught are as follows:
Class One for both groups:
Minnestrone Soup with mini meatballs, pizza bread, orange salad for dessert
Class Two for both groups:
Fried Rice, cucumber salad, banana ice cream for dessert
Class Three for both groups:
Quesadillas, Guacamole, fruit salad for dessert
Class Four for both groups:
Spaghetti and meatballs, homemade breadsticks, chocolate pudding for dessert
For 4-7 year olds, classes are Saturdays from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM April 6, 13, 20, 27th.
Cost: $20 per class or $75 for all 4 classes.
For 8-11 year olds, classes are Wednesdays 3:30-5:30 PM April 10, 17, 24, May 1.
Cost:$20 per class or $75 for all 4 classes.

Parks and Recreation are pleased to offer two kids Mountain biking sessions this Spring and Summer led by Boulder Junior Cycling Head Coach Lester Pardoe. This class is for beginner to intermediate riders wishing to improve their mountain biking skills. All classes start at the Lyons dirt jump park in Bohn Park and will move on to the local trails as Lester feels they are ready. If there is construction at Bohn Park, an alternate site will be given.
Age: 8-14 year olds
All classes are on Mondays

Tuesdays in the Basement, Thursdays upstairs
Lori LeGault teaches Stay Fit on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Lyons. On Tuesdays we meet in the basement for a 30 minute circuit class followed by a 30 minute gentle yoga class. On Thursdays we meet upstairs Walt Self and take a 30 minute brisk walk to LaVern Johnson Park or Bohn Park, weather dependant, if the weather isn't good we will do cardiovascular exercise indoors. The last 30 minutes of class is gentle yoga. All levels are welcome to join!
