Habitat for Humanity Groundbreaking

Join Habitat for Humanity of the St Vrain Valley today at 5:00 pm for a Site Blessing & Ground Breaking for the homes they will be building at 2nd Ave and Park.

The ground blessing is an opportunity to come together to mark the date that the site infrastructure work begins, according to Dave Emerson, executive director of Habitat for Humanity.  This aligns with other Town of Lyons flood recovery events that commemorate four years after the flood


Bohn Park Tours

Wednesday, September 13 | 5:30 pm


Join the project manager for a tour of what's been happening behind the fences at Bohn Park! Project Manager, Dave Fenity will give participants a firsthand look at some of the completed milestones, such as river restoration, ADA fishing jetty, and the new storm water system. Dave will also share information about the project's improved underground infrastructure.
 
The Bohn Park restoration progress tours will be held on Wednesday, September 13, at 5:30 p.m. Attendees should plan for about 45 minutes to walk the site and see some of the new features. Please park across the street at the Waste Water Treatment Plant.

All attendees must wear closed-toe shoes, as it is a active construction site.

This overview will review the highlights and status of the ongoing and upcoming flood recovery projects for the Town of Lyons.The Town has also provided a link to the status of the projects.
