He's ready for the ice rink to open!
He's ready for the ice rink to open! Fingers crossed for freezing temps!

It's December....

When will the ice rink open?

Town staff has been prepping the ice rink to try and open when school is out on Winter Break. This is all weather dependent!
Parks and public works crews will need to set the equipment, fill with water and smooth it out. We hope for Mother Nature to cooperate with freezing temperatures to help freeze the water into skate-ready ice. The ice is about 8 inches thick and needs freezing temperatures to set. Night time temperatures this week look like they may help, but we have some warm day time temps ahead. We will keep you posted!
